With the 2013 broadcasts filmed, Les Fatals Picards took advantage of the late arrival of spring to lock themselves away in the backrooms of a Parisian studio and, with an epidural, gave birth to a seventh album which they promptly christened—once again proving their legendary quick wit—: Septième Ciel! It's an album just as love likes them, with music and lyrics, paper for the booklet, plastic for the disc, and always that same tendency to humorously tackle serious subjects: domestic violence with "Gros con," junk food with "Petit poisson d'élevage," nuclear power with "Atomic twist," alcoholism with "Robert"... and it's still on the road, as their thousandth concert has just appeared, that the intrepid quartet will defend these new tracks in the coming months, because, as you now know, the future is just a matter of time... On February 21st, Septième Ciel will be released for the first time on vinyl, in a limited transparent blue edition, to celebrate the band's 25th anniversary.
