Pictures At An Exhibition: The Paintings Of Bob Peak
Description
Designed by producer Robert Townson, "Pictures at an Exhibition: The Paintings of Bob Peak" brings together ten renowned composers, each of whom composed a piece inspired by a painting by Bob Peak, the famous American illustrator. This project is based on the concept of Mussorgsky's famous "Pictures at an Exhibition." The ten pieces are performed for the first time by the Los Angeles Film Orchestra, under the direction of Leonard Slatkin. Bob Peak is known for his iconic movie posters such as West Side Story, Superman, Apocalypse Now, and Star Trek, as well as his illustrations for Time Magazine and the Olympic Games.Buy Pictures At An Exhibition: The Paintings Of Bob Peak at the best price
