This 19-track double CD box set from obscure German death metal band Lemming Project presents their only two studio albums, originally released in 1991 and 1992 via Noise Records.For fans of MORGOTH, OBITUARY, ASPHYX, MANGLED TORSOS.CD 1 contains their first studio album, "Extinction", released in 1991.CD 2 contains their second album, "Hate And Despise", released in 1992.Formed in Dortmund in 1986, Lemming Project was an exception in the emerging death metal scene.Their unconventional approach to songwriting, aggressive live shows, and politically engaged lyrics set them apart from darker metal bands.After releasing a demo in 1990, the band signed with Noise and joined their catalog of emerging metal acts, including Helloween, Kreator, and Running Wild.
