Description

With "As Time Goes By," his third album, Laurent Marion continues his musical exploration through folk music tinged with world music influences. After garnering attention from FIP Radio and Rolling Stone Magazine with his first two EPs, the SACEM and RIFFX award winner unveils an album that is both intimate and inspired. This album was recorded and produced at Tiki Studio by Matthieu Lefèvre (who notably recorded the soundtrack for the film "Emilia Perez") and at minimalStudio by Alex Finkin (behind the Roseaux project), who finalized the mixing and mastering. Laurent's artistic direction was developed in close collaboration with Gunnar Ellwanger (GUNWOOD). This album is structured like a collection of musical postcards. Each track invites listeners to escape, weaving a sensitive dialogue between the artist and the horizons he longs to discover. Through his compositions, Laurent Marion captures moments, emotions, and fragments of elsewhere, transforming each melody into a unique story.
