MAGIC MOZART: THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OPERA AIRS BY MOZART BY THE FINE FLOWER OF FRENCH SINGING AND THE INSULA ORCHESTRA CONDUCTED BY LAURENCE EQUILBEY. EXCEPTIONAL VOICES: SANDRINE PIAU, LÉA DESANDRE, JODIE DEVOS, FLORIAN SEMPEY, STANISLAS DE BARBEYRAC AND LOÏC FÉLIX. Since the creation of Insula Orchestra at the end of 2012 by Laurence Equilbey, Mozart has held a very important place in the orchestra's repertoire. The idea for this recording stems from a project implemented for the 2020 festival, in the GrandeSeine of the Seine Musicale. It is an unprecedented magical cabaret around the great airs of Mozartian operas (The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Abduction from the Seraglio...), which evoke the different magics, black (malevolent), white (benevolent) and red (loving), and interpreted by the enchanting voices of Sandrine Piau, Léa Desandre, Jodie Devos, Florian Sempey, Stanislas de Barbeyrac and Loïc Félix.
