New York jazz singer Laura Anglade was born in the south of France and grew up in Connecticut. After living several years in Canada where she pursued translation studies, she settled in New York to fully dedicate herself to music. Her style evokes great figures of vocal jazz such as Samara Joy, Diana Krall and Stella Cole, as well as legends like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day. This deluxe CD digipak edition of her latest album, Get Out of Town, includes the previously unreleased tracks "The Shadow of Your Smile" (Johnny Mandel/Paul Francis Webster), "You Turned the Tables on Me" (Louis Alter/Sidney D. Mitchell) and "L'Étang" (Paul Misraki).
