L'Antidote: a breath of beauty against the poison of the world.Recorded in Puglia, in an environment conducive to dreaming and contemplation, Bijan Chemirani, Redi Hasa and Rami Khalifé created L'Antidote, an instrumental repertoire of rare finesse that opposes the healing power of music to the poisons of the present times. Master of the Iranian zarb and Persian percussion, which he likes to immerse in jazz, Bijan Chemirani here crosses his knowledge of rhythm with Albanian cellist Redi Hasa - known for having worked on the revival of traditional music from southern Italy but also alongside Maria Mazzotta, Ludovico Einaudi or even Robert Plant - and Lebanese Rami Khalifé, who masterfully plays with the boundaries between classical and electro on the keys of his piano. With L'Antidote, the three musicians cultivate hope and beauty on a universal scale.
