Près d'un an après la sortie de son album ' Norman Fucking Rockwell ', nommé Album de l'Année aux Grammy Awards, Lana Del Rey est de retour avec un projet quelque peu différent. Après avoir teasé la sortie d'un album de poésie sur ses réseaux sociaux, elle annonce aujourd'hui ' Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass ' un "spoken word" album qui accompagne un recueil de poésies. Elle y lira 14 poèmes tirés de celui-ci accompagnée par des compositions du producteur Jack Antonoff (qui a également produit Norman Fucking Rockwell). Son recueil de poésie sortira d'abord en livre audio le 28 juillet 2020, puis en livre papier illustré le 29 septembre 2020 et enfin en édition physique (CD, Vinyle, Cassette) le 2 octobre 2020. Bonne nouvelle pour les fans, " Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass " devrait avoir une suite, puisqu'elle a signé pour deux livres avec son éditeur Simon & Schuster UK !
