In the autumn of 2019, Kurt Wagner had a unique idea: he decided to invite all the members of LAMBCHOP to Nashville to record an album where each person would choose a song for the entire band to cover and would lead the recording session. The result became LAMBCHOP's new album, TRIP: 6 divine covers recorded from December 2 to 7, 2019, at Battletapes in Nashville, Tennessee, produced and mixed by Jeremy Ferguson. TRIP sounds like a perfect convergence point between the band's older catalog and its recent works. Always that sophistication and innovation unique to Lambchop's ALT COUNTRY sound.
