Watch Me

Description

Labi Siffre is a singer, songwriter, performing musician and poet born in London in 1945 to a Belgian-West Indian mother and a Nigerian father. Demon Records presents a unique collection of songs recorded in 1971 and 1972, not all of which were released at the time. This album includes the hits "It Must Be Love", "Watch Me" and "Crying, Loving, Laughing, Lying" (covered respectively by Madness, Greta Van Fleet and Rod Stewart) as well as B-sides that were never released. The second side features five songs recorded during this period, but which were only released on the occasion of a CD reissue in 2006. They appear here on vinyl for the first time.
