For ten years now, the trio La Terre Tremble !!! has redefined its own boundaries, its intimate musical tectonics, with each new album, pursuing its obsessive quest for chimerical music, teeming with details, illusionistic and delicately chaotic, as obvious and melodious as it is scholarly and sophisticated. Unable to "stop the world", the three experimental rascals always strive for a somewhat misshapen and timeless particularism, taking musical genre as a framework to transcend, and sound - whether electric, acoustic or electronic - as raw material for precise, precious aural constructions, as haunting as they are insidious. Their new album is called 'Fauxbourdon', and who knows, it may take you as long to tame it as it took them to create it.
