Description

It was in Brussels in 1983 that La Muerte was formed. Musically, the band quickly found its niche, soon being compared to Birthday Party or The Stooges. They conveyed much the same extreme image, four horsemen of the apocalypse inspired as much by rock'n'roll classics as by genre cinema, from Salvador Dali to Kenneth Anger and Blake Edwards. La Muerte quickly became a cult band and a benchmark in Belgian underground rock.
