Description

A duo formed by Jessica Fitoussi and producer Yvan Ginoux (RONE's collaborator). She was beginning to make a name for herself after her notable appearances on the albums of the duo Mister Modo & Ugly Mac Beer. He, on the other hand, preferred the shadows of the studios with his accomplice Rone. Suffice it to say, nothing really predestined these two to ever meet, other than chance. Yet, it took Jessica Fitoussi and Yvan Ginoux no more than one evening to understand that their destinies would be inextricably linked. It was therefore like a new birth, urgent, noisy. The duo then seeks to put sounds to their emotions, to provoke images, to create certainties from contradictions. Between electronic gusts, soulful depth and pop efficiency, La Mess's music plunges into the cracks opened then patiently polished - by Massive Attack or The Knife. Imagine a Lana Del Rey bantering with Hudson Mohawke, or M.I.A. on a night out with an uncontrollable Tricky. Imagine music that transports and overflows. And let yourself go...
