Tribulations Extra-Sensorielles
Description
A duo of producers who worked with rapper MC Solaar released their first EP, Tribulations Extra Sensorielles, in 1994. Philippe Zdar and Hubert Boombass became known as La Funk Mob and offered timeless trip-hop drawing joyfully from jazz and funk. Signed to the British label Mo' Wax, a benchmark in the genre, it demonstrated that the French were now being taken very seriously across the Channel.
