Triomphe

Description

Three years after "Adieu l'enfance" (Farewell Childhood), La Féline, a project by philosopher Agnès Gayraud, returns with a second album: "Triomphe" (Triumph). Since her debut on the French pop scene, Agnès Gayraud has carved out her own path, with carefully crafted lyrics and her raw, minimal guitar playing. La Féline has a soft voice and clear, precise diction. All of this together produces music that is increasingly personal, increasingly assertive, and also open to others. With her collaborator Xavier Thiry from the band Hello Kirt, La Féline doesn't get lost in intellectual rock. Her music aims to be direct and immediate. "Senga," the first single from "Triomphe," is proof of this: La Féline can scratch. The AS Human Pattern collective (videographers and clipmakers for Oiseaux-Tempête, Saåad, Mondkopf, and Autrenoir, among others) created an uncompromising video. With the performance of dancer Hélène Rocheteau, striking faces, and breathtaking cinematography, "Senga" reveals its dark side: an alter ego of the singing voice, she is this wild creature, both human and beast, who fascinates but ultimately gets persecuted...
