For L\u0026S, they are joined by Jean-Michel Pirès (The Married Monk, Bruit Noir) and Eric Thomas. They performed their first concert and recorded the album 'When the Vowels Fall' with the GAM de Nancy orchestra, under the direction of François Légée. 'G.W. Sok and Anthony Laguerre have been honing their craft for over ten years. For the L\u0026S project, the format might suggest a form of murmured intimacy. But, as soon as the first notes play, one must imagine storms and saving squalls. From this collaboration, a reciprocal exchange was born. Sok's poetry found its place in Laguerre's music, and Laguerre had little struggle in allowing Sok's poetry to imbue his compositions, both for the rock combo and for the symphonic orchestra's flourishes. With gravel in his throat, coupled with an inalienable tenderness, the voice of The Ex co-founder advances without a mask, and Anthony Laguerre provides the framework for the nuances, carvings, and scansion that the voice opens up.
