Keith Sweat discovered this female trio (Athena Cage, Lavonn Battle and Tabitha Duncan) from Atlanta, but Kut Klose had much more to offer than simply being a superstar's protégées. Their only album, Surrender (1995), has become a true cult classic, notably thanks to tracks like "Get Up on It" and "Sexual Baby," which are simply torrid. The production is impeccable, with contributions from the H.O.P. Productions team, Eric McCaine and Fitzgerald Scott, who joined Sweat to create captivating rhythms. "I Like" was the hit, but the entire album exudes that "staying home for the night" vibe. Never released on vinyl in the United States, Surrender is now available on a remastered light blue pressing, with a printed inner sleeve. A highly sought-after collector's item for R&B enthusiasts!
