In partnership with Back Lot Music, Waxwork Records is thrilled to release the original motion picture soundtrack for THE WILD ROBOT by Kris Bowers. The Wild Robot is a 2024 DreamWorks animated feature film based on the book series of the same name by Peter Brown. It stars Lupita Nyong'o as Roz, the main character, along with an ensemble voice cast including Pedro Pascal, Mark Hamill, Catherine O'Hara, and Ving Rhames. The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot, Roz, who is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to her hostile surroundings, gradually forming relationships with the island's animals and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling. In The Wild Robot, the synergy between music and storytelling reaches unprecedented heights under the direction of Oscar-winning composer Kris Bowers. The soundtrack also features two songs performed by Maren Morris, titled Kiss The Sky and Even When I'm Not. Waxwork Records is thrilled to release THE WILD ROBOT Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Music by Kris Bowers as a deluxe double LP featuring crystal clear vinyl with a blue orb and green, mint, and black splatter, all housed in a heavyweight gatefold jacket with a matte satin coating. A 12-page booklet is also included with exclusive liner notes from director Chris Sanders and composer Kris Bowers, as well as artwork from the film.
