It was filmed and recorded by professionals on December 16, 2018, at the Roundhouse in London, England. It concluded Kreator's European headlining tour with Dimmu Borgir, Hatebreed, and Blood Bat. Kreator's leader, Mille Petrozza, stated: "Hordes! Welcome to 'London Apocalypticon'! To mark the occasion, Kreator premiered their new release with the first single "Satan Is Real," capturing the atmosphere and spirit of the stunning concert footage. Kreator played their first concert with the band's new bassist, Frédéric Leclercq, on October 5, 2019, in Santiago, Chile. Before joining Kreator, Leclercq made a name for himself through Dragonforce, for whom he served as bassist from 2005 until last August. Leclercq's first tour as the new bassist of Kreator will be the "State Of Unrest" tour in spring 2020, co-headlining in Europe with Lamb Of God.
