KOKOKO! is a collective born in Kinshasa. A creative meeting of artists that first began in the block parties of the capital. It consists of instrument inventors from the Ngwaka and Makara Bianko neighborhood (aka "the Lingwala Devil") accompanied by his dancers from the Lingwala neighborhood. This first EP Liboso, literally "Forward, straight ahead," plunges us directly into a rich and diverse Congolese musical universe. Liboso is their first release since Tokoliana and Tongos'a which had taken them to Europe for a full tour where their unparalleled performances sometimes resulted in encores of over 30 minutes.
