Energized by their thunderous collaboration with electronic musician PAEPALUS, the five partners returned to the studio with unprecedented freshness and a repertoire first tested on stage. For their 9th album, the first with MOTÉMA, the Grammy-nominated group embarks on the exploration of raw energy with lively rhythms in service of this new repertoire: "Anti-Hero." The five musicians come together with unwavering boldness. Formed in 2001, the quintet brings together trumpeter SHANE ENPSLEY and saxophonist BEN WENPEL in a complementary and telepathic front line, while keyboardist APAMBENJAMIN, bassist KAVEH RASTEGAR, and drummer NATE WOOP form the solid rhythm section.
