A quarter century of Kludde! To celebrate this anniversary, Langs Scheld- en Denderland will be reissued in collaboration with Consouling Sounds and Thenra Collectivum. For the first time, the album will be available as a 6-panel digisleeve CD and on black vinyl. Completely remixed and remastered by Cerulean, it offers a significantly superior sound while preserving the original atmosphere and spirit. The artwork has also been tastefully reworked. The demo, originally released on CD-R in 2002, was a great success in the local underground scene and beyond. It caught the attention of Nightmare Productions, the label of Nocturnus Horrendus of Corpus Christi, which reissued it a year later, in 2003, on cassette. Today, these original versions have become highly sought-after collector's items in the underground black metal scene. Kludde was formed around 2001 by Snoodaert and Uglúk as a black metal studio project, inspired by the second wave of the genre. Local folklore served as the conceptual foundation, and the band's name refers to an evil tormentor who, according to legend, prowls the docks at night, frightening unwary passersby. The Kludde - also known as Kleddemèvel or Waterklerre - is a shapeshifter that often appeared as a large black dog, walking on its hind legs, with glowing eyes and chained by rattling chains.
