A new dive into psychedelia with the prolific Melbourne septet! The Australian band KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD never does things by halves. In 2017, not one but five albums will be released, to the delight of their fans! The first to be released is entitled Flying Microtonal Banana, setting the tone. Composed of nine tracks, this new album was born thanks to a custom-made microtonal guitar given to Stu, the band's leader. This was followed by a desire to play only with microtonal instruments: modified electric guitars, basses, keyboards and harmonica came to accompany the instrument, for a truly unique result! The album Flying Microtonal Banana is hypnotic, psychedelic and powerful. It reveals a band in perpetual motion, always seeking to renew itself and offer new sounds. We can't wait for the next ones!
