"Killing for Revenge" marks the second album created by Barnes and guitarist Jack Owen (ex-Cannibal Corpse) since their reunion for 2020's "Nightmares of the Decomposed", which was critically acclaimed as an uncompromising display of force. Barnes states: "We worked well together in Cannibal Corpse, I loved him as a friend and musician, so I wanted us to produce this album together."
