Kiasmos – Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen – have invited five renowned artists to completely reinvent their second album, II. Originally released in July 2024 and critically acclaimed, this album marked the duo's grand return, followed by a world tour. This new version features contributions from Rachika Nayar and Nina Keith (Disiniblud), Kjartan Holm, Sin Fang, and Alex Somers. Each artist reinterprets the original material with their own sonic identity, oscillating between electronic experimentation and analog reinterpretation, to create a dreamy and immersive listening experience. The physical version is available before the digital version, giving fans the opportunity to discover the album in advance.
