180g Red 2LP Vinyl - Wide-Spined Sleeve with Two Printed Inner Sleeves - Artwork by Luke PreeceGears of War from 2006 was truly a trailblazer thanks to its cinematic action, cover system, active reloading, and basketball-sized biceps.Composer Kevin Riepl (Unreal Tournament series, Rocket League) and the Northwest Sinfonia infused the soundtrack with a propulsive sense of Sturm und Drang. Over the frenetic orchestral lines, driving metallic percussion accompanies throbbing brass and animated string bursts. Riepl also forged the game's distinctive sound with dark ambient pieces that utilized electronic samples and delay.This double LP set features 31 tracks, specially remastered for vinyl by Joe Caithness. These will be pressed on two audiophile-quality 180g red vinyl discs. The discs will be housed in a wide-spined sleeve with two printed inner sleeves.The final track "Gears of War (Piano)" has never been released until now.
