A founding member of SOFT MACHINE, Kevin embarked on a solo career in 1969, signing with EMI's Harvest label, for whom he recorded a series of wonderful and stylistically eclectic albums. "WHATEVERSHEBRINGSWESING" was released in November 1971 and featured contributions from David Bedford, Robert Wyatt, and Mike Oldfield. With classic tracks such as "Stranger in Blue Suede Shoes," "Song from the Bottom of a Well," and "Whatevershebringswesing," the album is considered one of Kevin's finest. This new vinyl edition of this classic album has been remastered from the original tapes and cut at Abbey Road Studios. It fully restores the original LP artwork.
