Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, became known for singing on the track "Right Round" by Flo Rida, and was brought to light with her appearance in the music video "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry before releasing her first single, the worldwide hit "TiK ToK," the most played song on the radio in the world in 2009. Produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin, her first album "Animal" reached the top of the charts in 2010 with over 2.5 million units sold worldwide, and earned her the MTV EMA award for Best New Artist of the Year. A second album titled "Warrior," released in 2012 and featuring hits such as "Die Young" and "C'Mon," confirmed her international fame. After health issues and a period of media turmoil, Kesha announced her return to the spotlight in 2017, with a new heartfelt single: the enchanting "Praying."
