Heydays

Description

Keen Hue makes a comeback with their "Heydays," 10 fresh songs written between 1981-1989! One summer day in 1978, bassist Lars-Åke loaded his amp and speaker onto his bicycle trailer, heading to his first rehearsal with guitarist Åke and drummer Anders. This was the beginning of Keen Hue. Three years later, second guitarist Stefan and new drummer Peter joined the band. They then began to write their own music, influenced by bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. After the release of their first album in 1985 ("Ogre King"), the band went on tour around the world. Shortly after, the band recruited bassist Kent so that Lars-Åke could focus on his vocals. In the following years, they toured a bit in Sweden and in 1989, the singer left the band. Fast forward to 2018: Stefan had the idea to make new recordings of Keen Hue's old songs and contacted Lars-Åke, Åke, Kent, and Peter. Everyone gathered to immediately record the old songs with a refreshed sound. And here are 10 fresh songs written between 1981-1989. The HEYDAYS!
