Katia and Marielle Labèque, the celebrated sister piano duo whose career spans over fifty years, present their new album dedicated to the music of Philip Glass in the form of a luxurious three-vinyl box set. It is accompanied by a booklet featuring texts by Philip Glass, quotes from Jean Cocteau, an interview with Katia and Marielle Labèque, and stage photos taken during the premiere of the Cocteau Trilogy at the Philharmonie de Paris in spring 2024. Following their acclaimed 2020 recording of Les Enfants Terribles, Katia and Marielle conclude Glass's operatic triptych based on Jean Cocteau's films, presenting the two remaining works of the Trilogy: Orphée and La Belle et la Bête, arranged for them by Michael Riesman, Philip Glass's collaborator and arranger.
