The album VULTURES 1 by Ye (Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign (as the supergroup titled "¥"), released in 2024, is Ye's first collaborative album since his 2018 album with Kid Cudi, KIDS SEE GHOSTS. Bridging R&B, classic rap-soul, and the lo-fi electro styles of the late Ye era, VULTURES 1 manages to fuse Ye's production methods with Ty Dolla's nonchalant flow. The album was released digitally in February 2024 and rose to number one on the Billboard 200, becoming Ye's eleventh album and Ty Dolla's fifth album to reach number one in the United States in their respective careers. Internationally, the album topped streaming charts in 72 countries. Initially, vinyl copies, CDs, and cassettes of VULTURES 1 were available exclusively on the artist's online store. The album is no longer available in any format through this channel. The track "Carnival" is nominated in the "Best Rap Song" category at the Grammy Awards.
