Discovering June Cocó’s music is a liberating experience. Not the mystical or shrill kind that magically claims to extract you from your own body and transport you to a point of no return. Nor is it one of those ephemeral escapes where you press "play" to glimpse a different world for the duration of a song. June Cocó’s music comes from elsewhere. It gradually and slowly draws you away from reality and the constraints of daily life, from the city, the noise, the pressure.
