Julien Chauvin and Le Concert de la Loge join Alpha and embark on a new cycle dedicated to Mozart. This project is a natural continuation of the rediscovery work carried out by Julien Chauvin around the interpretation of the music of Haydn and his contemporaries in Paris at the end of the 18th century. This first recording brings together the majestic and grandiose Symphony No. 41 in C major, known as the "Jupiter," the Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major, and the overture to The Marriage of Figaro. Julien Chauvin is of course the soloist in the violin concerto, and with his Concert de la Loge (which is no longer "Olympique" since 2016, when the French National Olympic and Sports Committee forced the ensemble to shorten its name, even though it was created... in 1782), they begin a marathon on Mozartian territory that promises to be electrifying!
