The Australian composer returns with an intense and committed second album. Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin is back with Crushing. This second album embodies all the facets suggested by the title. Of great intensity, it tells the story of both fleeting passions and broken hearts, with the body and the limits we sometimes overstep as its cornerstone. Crushing reveals how our physical experience can sometimes be devastating. It follows her critically acclaimed debut album, Don’t Let The Kids Win, released in 2016. The record was produced by Burke Reid (Courtney Barnett, Liam Finn) and recorded at The Grove Studios. She will be touring in 2019 and will stop in Paris at Les Etoiles.
