Born in Paris in 1966, Juan Rozoff is the son of a Russian engineer-adventurer and a Spanish actress-poetess. The media quickly nicknamed him the "French Prince", which he readily accepted, adding mischievously, "I'd rather be the French Prince than the Spanish Guy Béart." In the 1990s, he pioneered the "new Parisian groove scene", paving the way for FFF, Sinclair, Vercoquin, and Malka Family. He is still considered, particularly by Funk-U Mag3, as one of the main funk artists in France. A multi-instrumentalist and unparalleled showman, his concerts in France and abroad have been delighting audiences for over twenty years. He has collaborated with artists such as Bootsy Collins, Maceo Parker, and Fred Wesley. He has also opened for giants like James Brown, Larry Graham..., Clinton, Temptations, and Maceo Parker.
