Progressive degradation is a principle proposed by English psychologist David Courtenay Marr (1945-1980), according to which an effective information processing system must be able to react to minor errors without producing a completely erroneous result. A failure in one part does not lead to the failure of the entire system. This prevents a complete system breakdown, even at the cost of a performance drop. This is the title of the second EP.
