South London singer, songwriter, and composer Joy Crookes presents her second album, Juniper. The album’s title, which references resilience (the juniper is a persistent plant that thrives in difficult conditions), heralds an introspective journey through themes such as body acceptance, mental health, queer love, anxiety, the hypocrisy of the music industry, and the ecstasy (and terror) of falling in love.
