This funk track, with horns and a driving bassline behind Josephine's vocals, was the highlight of her short career, which began with three 45s for the Mar-V-Lus label.\u003cbr\u003e\nOn Side B: “Satisfied” by Krystal Generation (1970). A female quartet from Chicago featuring Darlene Arnold, who recorded several solo sides as well as half a dozen with Krystal Generation, which also released a few singles on Gene Chandler's Mister Chandler label. “Satisfied” is built around Darlene's lead vocals, superb harmonies, and some sassy Stax-worthy horns.
