After reinterpreting the themes of Jennifer Lopez and Mylène Farmer on piano, Joseph Schiano di Lombo releases the first original tracks of his own making, intended for our best friends the dogs, whether they be companion dogs, herding dogs, guide dogs or avalanche dogs. Composed with mischief, mannerism and a certain flair, his first record "Musique de niche" is a mainstream love song addressed not only to the pooches, but to all their two-legged comrades as well. Still at the keyboard, but not on piano this time. Instead, a host of warm, playful and melancholic timbres that pay homage to the virtuosos of tenderness, halfway between subtle ambient and the soundtracks of dated TV movies. Several episodes of dogs' lives are covered: the dreams of puppies, walks through the endless forests of North America, long afternoons of naps in the empty house, not forgetting (because you always need a little, after all) a brief page of advertising for low-price kibble. Joseph will thus sign his first EP, also the first of the new "Méditations" series initiated by the label. This limited series will showcase various artists who will offer not music to dance and have fun to, but music to listen to (for once), to escape and dream. For this first release, Joseph offers an opus intended for our canine friends. The jack-of-all-trades artist thus calmly plants his mark as a delicate entertainer.
