Warm vocals and classy arrangements: Jonathan Jeremiah's must-have soul album!
English singer-songwriter Jonathan Jeremiah is back with the release of his fifth album: Horsepower For The Streets. This album synthesises the very essence of his musical world; composed in the purest soul tradition, the arrangements are reminiscent of iconic 60s productions by Lalo Schifrin and Terry Callier, and the more contemporary Michael Kiwanuka. Addictive rhythm sections, melodic strings, and the singer's unique vibrant voice make for a radiant result. Largely written and composed in Saint-Pierre-De-Côle near Bordeaux during the artist's last French tour, the album was then recorded in a church in Amsterdam with twenty musicians from the Amsterdam Sinfonietta orchestra.
