Few have mastered vintage synth music like Jonas Reinhardt. After a few years in a band, Jesse Reiner (Reinhardt's mastermind / alter ego) retreated in 2011 to a more solitary project, subsequently creating: Music for the Tactile Dome, The Prime Revealer, and Foam Fangs. These appetizers announced Mask of the Maker, an album worthy of electro-cosmic slalom, produced between San Francisco and Brooklyn, with the collaboration of multi-instrumentalists: the brilliant percussionist Damon Palermo, Diego Gonzalez, Phil Manley, Tim Soete, Steve Moore, Clint Newsom, Michael Barron, and Meryl Press. A gleaming album in the night, somewhere between Italo-galactic, experimental thrusts, clouds of psychedelic particles, atmospheric synth flights, and a few voices, astral mantras.
