Jonas Kaufmann’s new album is a highly personal tribute to the immortal melodies of the capital of waltz and operetta. That is why it bears its name: Vienna. For this refined recording, which brings together world-famous Viennese hits, only one orchestra could be considered: the Vienna Philharmonic; the varied program is conducted by Ádám Fischer. In the duets, such as the title track from the operetta *Wiener Blut*, Kaufmann is partnered by Rachel Willis Sørensen. “Wien,” Jonas Kaufmann’s new album, will be available from October 11, 2019, in CD and double vinyl versions.
