Born from a simple idea, JOHNNY THE BOY has in recent years become an entity in its own right. Formed around a creative core of vocalist Belinda Kordic, guitarist Justin Greaves (both members of Crippled Black Phoenix) and bassist Matt Crawford (formerly of CBP), JOHNNY THE BOY allows the trio to present a darker, more tortured side than in their main band.
Armed with an improbable but thoughtful blend of icy black metal, abrasive sludge, and nervous rock'n'roll, the band has forged its own musical identity and hits where it hurts.
