In 1961 Johnny Hallyday signed his first contract with the Mercury label (Philips at the time) to write one of the greatest chapters in the history of French song. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of this historic signing, here is a compilation bringing together 50 standards: his greatest hits and for the first time a completely unreleased cover of Léo Ferré's song "Avec le temps" recorded in 1980 during the sessions for the album "A partir de maintenant".
