'Mind Games' is John Lennon's fourth studio album. It was recorded at Record Plant Studios in New York during the summer of 1973. It is also the first album John produced himself without the help of Phil Spector.
It was recorded while Lennon was experiencing difficulties with US immigration and at the beginning of his 18-month separation from Yoko Ono (better known as The Lost Weekend). Using new 192-24 digital transfers from the original multi-tracks, Mind Games has been remixed by three-time Grammy Award winners Paul Hicks and Sam Gannon. These new mixes reveal breathtaking sonic depth, definition, and clarity.
