John Carpenter returns to scoring after nearly twenty years with the Halloween trilogy (2018, 2021, 2022), directed by David Gordon Green. Green involved Carpenter early in the project as executive producer and composer, alongside his long-time collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies. For the first time, an extended 2xLP deluxe edition of the Halloween Ends soundtrack is being offered by Carpenter's historic label, Sacred Bones Records. The 2018 film was an unexpected success, becoming Blumhouse's and the Halloween franchise's highest-grossing film, paving the way for the sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. Despite uncertainties due to cinematic constraints, Carpenter and his team successfully continued the adventure, keen to pursue this collaboration. This extended edition of Halloween Ends includes 10 new tracks and features new artwork by Chris Bilheimer, as well as an exclusive poster by Creepy Duck. Extended versions of the soundtracks for the first two films, along with a box set of all three, will be released simultaneously, offering fans a complete and valuable experience.
