One day, a handful of musicians embarked on a crazy project: to play all of Brahms' chamber music in a few months and record it so that there would finally be a complete collection of the repertoire performed by a single ensemble. Led by Pierre Fouchenneret, Eric Le Sage, Lise Berthaud, and Francois Salque, they formed a group, closely followed by the passionate and discerning ear of B Records. The album dedicated to the piano quartets, a form in which the great Viennese composer showcased all his genius - this blend of fervor and rigor - is the first episode of a series to follow.
