Egomaniac
Description
JoeyStarr is the co-founder of the famous French rap duo Suprême NTM. Originally breakdancers and graffiti artists, the duo is known for giving a voice to minorities living in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Paris and beyond, through dark, raw, and politically engaged lyrics. Despite record sales with their four albums, they split up in 1998.After a few forays into other musical projects, JoeyStarr released his first solo album in 2006. Egomaniac, released in 2011, is his second album and includes prestigious collaborations; on "Mamy...", he works with Nicoletta on a new version of her 1971 hit "Mamy Blue", and the interlude "Appel à la Résistance" includes a speech by left-wing activist Olivier Besancenot. After its initial release, the vinyl edition became sold out, so we are delighted to finally be able to offer it again.Egomaniac is available in a special 15th anniversary edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on orange vinyl and includes an 8-page booklet.Buy Egomaniac at the best price
