Reissued for the first time since 1973 on a limited translucent blue vinyl edition, "Salsoul" was born from Bataan's love for Salsa and Soul, which developed during his youth in New York's Spanish Harlem. The impact of Bataan's new sound was so great that "Salsoul" served as a catalyst for the creation of a label of the same name.
