The box set also includes a selection of 1960s singles on a bonus LP 'The Early Years', a 40-page book with rare and previously unreleased images, and a foreword by Mark Knopfler. For Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale is "one of the most important artists in rock history (...) He was an incredible source of inspiration for me. His records are truly minimal, light, full of finesse.
